Milo "The Comfort Dog" was always available to console those visiting Benjamin Memorial Home.
His attention and affection eased the suffering and warmed the hearts of all who knew him. He will be sadly missed.
Milo R.I.P - 2002-2017
We don't always choose our pets; sometimes they choose us. According to owner, Don R. Benjamin Jr., Milo chose him. One day, Don visited his friend Georgia who was caring for an elderly WWII veteran. Georgia had brought along her trained therapy dog, Milo to help brighten the old man's day. When Milo spotted Don, he took to him instantly. Georgia saw the connection Milo had with Don and decided to let Don keep Milo at Benjamin Memorial Home.
For several years, Milo gave his attention and affection to those grieving the loss of a loved one. Now we grieve the loss of our beloved little Milo. He will be sadly missed.
