Obituary of James Swaney

James Roy Swaney, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday December 30, 2016 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Jim was a sales manager for Snap on Tools for thirty-nine years. He was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Marie (nee Christ) Swaney , son James Mark Swaney and sister Rita Palmer. James is survived by his wife Olga Swaney. Father of Sondra Swaney-Forgie, Patricia (Ken) Gilliam, Jason (April) Swaney, Sister Diane Gralish, Stepfather of Gemala Hanafiah. Grand Father of Tiffany, Kayla, Joshua and Chloe. Close friends Janice Kendall, Marlina Belstadt and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim will be missed by the family pets Margie and Mandy James was a member of the Stephen Sikora Post # 1322 and the Knights of Columbus Madonna Council North Tonawanda. Family and friends are invited to call from 2-7pm on Thursday January 5, 2016 at Benjamin Memorial Home, 652 Oliver Street North Tonawanda( 692-4917). A prayer service will begin at 4:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
