Obituary of Gale Szynkowski

Gale (nee: Heidenfeldt) Szynkowski,75, of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully Monday, July 4, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital. Daughter of the late Elmer A. and Irma E. (nee:Kumm) Heidenfeldt, wife of the late Gerald Szynkowski. Sister of the late Robert, Floyd and William Heidenfeldt. Late Sister in law Barbara Szynkowski. Late Brother in laws Nick Woloszyn and Orion “Gay” Garner. Gale is survived by her daughters Patricia Crecco, and Erin DeGroot. Grandchildren Andrew and Andrea Crecco. Great grandchildren Evelyn and Donovan Crecco. She is also survived by her sisters Marie Garner and Elaine Woloszyn, brother Dr. David (Michelle) Skiba, brother in law Robert Szynkowski and sister in law Rose Heidenfeldt and numerous nieces and nephews. Gale will be greatly missed by all. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a cook at Third Warders Social Club for many years and served many occasions. Her love of life, family, friends and laughter were her greatest joys in life. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Colucci Funeral Home, 652 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda (692-4917). A funeral service will follow after calling hours and will be conducted by Reverend Keith Knupp of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda.
